Stephen Curry was the NBA’s scoring leader last season, and the Golden State Warriors still missed the playoffs.

Despite being the 8th seed going into the play-in tournament, they had a deflating loss to the Los Angeles Lakers and then were trumped by the No. 9 Grizzlies. Back to the drawing board, the Warriors added two rookies and three veterans to their roster.

The Golden State Warriors are still one star away from being title favorites, and those players should be on the market prior to the start of the season.

Most are skeptical that, although Klay Thompson is returning, that still won’t be enough to help return this team to championship contention.

The playoffs should be entirely possible, but for a group that’s had the amount of success the Big 3 have had, just playing more than the original 82 games is not the goal.

Winning a title is the goal, and with no Kevin Durant, filling that playmaking void alongside Curry could be the last move of the offseason for the Dubs.

It would be a big one though, and for the trades to even be on the table, Golden State would have to be okay with trading either James Wiseman or Jonathan Kuminga. That said, let’s dive into three star players worth considering a trade for.
