Golden State Warriors player most likely to relapse: Juan Toscano-Anderson

The Golden State Warriors added former Wizards’ forward Porter Jr. this offseason. If he can stay on the court, which he’s struggled to do this season, he should be able to eat into Juan Toscano-Anderson’s minutes.

What we saw from JTA made it clear last season that he was going to have a role on this roster. A sniper from deep and an all-energy hustle forward on the defensive end, JTA should be given the first crack at small-ball lineups.

His shooting has been impressive as hitting over 40 percent from deep is no easy task. If he can keep that up, despite his limited offensive ceiling outside of that, he should get similar minutes. JTA averaged just over five points per game last season.

It wouldn’t be shocking to see that dwindle with Iguodala also on the roster. Both forwards will take on a similar role as JTA. Assuming all three get minutes, until one separates themselves from the pack, expect JTA to have a reduced role.
