Golden State Warriors player that can step up: Juan Toscano-Anderson

Another player that will be able to step up when the Warriors play at the Chase Center is former Mexican league MVP Juan Toscano-Anderson. As with Porter Jr., JTA’s main attraction as a player is his ability to shoot from deep.

He hit over 40 percent of his attempts from deep last season. That rate is something to marvel at as it certainly helps space the court. Given his length and hustle, JTA was destined to have a role on this roster regardless of whether Wiggins is in or not.

However, he could easily be thrust into the starting lineup with no Wiggins. Last season, JTA scored 5.7 points per game yet played in just 20.9 minutes per game. With no Wiggins, there would be potential for him to easily play two quarters.

He’s proven that, despite not being the best playmaker, he’ll do anything to help the team succeed. For that, he’ll be given a bigger role when available, and with Wiggins potentially out, JTA will have a big-time opportunity to solidify his place on the roster.
