Andrew Wiggins derails the Golden State Warriors season

Another, more damaging option, is Andrew Wiggins sticks to his guns and refuses the vaccine. In this case, Wiggins might never experience any health problems due to his decision but the franchise will be negatively impacted in a strong way.

This type of thing is unprecedented.

Sure, players have missed half of the season plenty of times before. Klay Thompson himself will not return to practice until December. However, never has an NBA team had to navigate a scenario in which a player was only available for away games and practices.

What do the Warriors do? They can not practice in their home facility with Wiggins. Would they attempt to move somewhere else? Would they continue to start Wiggins in the games he is available? Or would he be forced to take a lesser role?

This type of wild inconsistency in the lineup would cause irreplaceable damage. I can not imagine this works out well for Wiggins or the Dubs. Because of this, the next option is more realistic for everyone.
