The Golden State Warriors still have a spot left on their 15-man roster, and while we thought they had every position group covered, it’s clear the Warriors could use additional depth both behind Stephen Curry and behind Kevon Looney and James Wiseman.

The backup point guard spot is arguably the most important void that needs to be filled.

The Golden State Warriors still have one roster spot, unless they sign Avery Bradley, and with it, they should target one of these four players.

Jordan Poole will likely act as the guard behind Curry until they add more of a veteran. Avery Bradley, who they added to their training camp roster, seems like the most simplistic addition despite how much help he’d actually bring.

However, there are players that make more sense than an aging shooting guard, a position they have plenty of. Along those lines, the Warriors could look to replace some production lost by Kent Bazemore and Kelly Oubre Jr. both heading elsewhere.

Adding a backup three, a backup guard, or another big man are all possible options for the Warriors, a team that will have title expectations this season. That said, let’s dive into four free agents that could fit the mold.
