Golden State Warriors: Jordan Poole is here to stay

Jordan Poole did not wait long to show everyone the progress he has made. He opened up the night bombing away from 28-feet, drilling three super deep attempts in the first quarter. Poole put up a quick 15 points and 4 assists in his first 15 minutes of playing time.

By the end of the night, Poole buried multiple shots well beyond the arc and poured in a game-high 30 points. He put on a live-action shooting clinic and made some eye-popping passes along the way.

Poole notched the starting role in place of Klay Thompson, a position he might maintain for the next few months. The offense ran smoothly with him on the floor and he has evolved into an ideal partner to play minutes with Stephen Curry.

Having Poole in the starting five will cost the second unit some much-needed shot creation but the dynamic of Poole playing both off-ball and handling the rock next to Curry is too much for the Warriors to ignore.

His confidence has skyrocketed since being a fringe rotational player as a rookie and he is now fulfilling his role as the next streaky 3-point shooter to suit up in the Bay. Poole made waves last year and it seems safe to say he is here to stay for the Dubs.
