Otto Porter Jr is the sleeper pick up of the off-season

Elsewhere, Otto Porter Jr could earn the ‘sleeper pick up of the summer’ title, if he can finally manage to stay healthy for an entire season. In his Warriors debut, Porter Jr scored 19-points at a 57.1 percent shooting from three-point range.

In just 18 minutes of game time, Porter Jr. demonstrated that he has all the tools necessary to fit seamlessly into the Warriors system.

Kelly Oubre Jr. struggled in the small forward role last season, never really coming to terms with Steve Kerr’s motion offense.

Based on Monday night’s game Porter Jr looks like every part of an upgrade. If Porter Jr can be afforded a run of luck after such a torrid run of injuries, he is more than a handy player to have coming off the bench.

With Porter Jr, Poole, and Nemanja Bjelica all now in the mix, the Warriors are stocked with an array of three-point weapons to support the Splash Brothers this season.
