Warriors preseason match to watch: Juan Toscano-Anderson vs. Andre Iguodala

The Golden State Warriors brought in many seasoned veterans this offseason.

Porter Jr., Bjelica, and Iguodala will all have a role as their IQs allow them to seamlessly plus into many positions. One position that could be filled by both Juan Toscano-Anderson and Iguodala is the stretch four.

Iguodala will have a say in lineups as the final chip after Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, and Stephen Curry because of his high basketball IQ.

He knows how to play with Curry and Green from the several years he spent in the Bay Area. Iguodala is also a defensive mastermind. He’s a competent three-point shooter, drilling 34 percent of his attempts from deep during his previous stint in Golden State.

Combine his shooting, familiarity, and defense, and Iggy will have a role in late-game lineups. JTA will also pose a threat after a solid season last year. The 28-year-old was one of the most energetic players on a nightly basis, shooting over 40 percent from deep.

His length and hustle make him a candidate to get those late-game minutes as well. His shooting also helps as he’s a better three-point threat than Iggy. Nonetheless, this will be a battle to watch as second-unit minutes will be limited.
