Golden State Warriors’ player that’s impressed: Jordan Poole

If there’s been one player that’s stood out, it’s Jordan Poole.

Poole is entering his third season in the league and is one of the Warriors’ lone players to improve from the team’s 15-win season to last year. The return of Stephen Curry and competitive basketball hurt players like Damion Lee and Mychal Mulder, but it allowed Poole to shine.

He’s entering 25 points per game through three games. It’s more than just his scoring, but how he’s scoring and the confidence with which he’s playing. Poole clearly set to take his game to a new level.

Poole put up 30 points against the Blazers and then 28 against the Lakers.

The most impressive part of it all is that Poole is shooting 52 percent from the field. He’s also shooting 44 percent from deep. Although it’s a three-game stint, I’m not sure anyone would’ve thought Poole would’ve reached this point after his rookie season.

Poole is tearing it up, but we’ll need to see him do it in the regular season at this level. Poole’s also averaging 3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. Overall, it’s been a terrific start for the third-year guard.
