The Golden State Warriors went perfect in the preseason.

A nice 5-0 to kick the season off never hurt a team’s confidence, but the real question is if they can carry that success over into the regular season or not, especially as they take on a Lakers team they know well.

The Golden State Warriors are taking on the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center to kick off the season. Here are three things to expect.

The Warriors have recently waived Avery Bradley, Mychal Mulder, Jordan Bell, and Gary Payton II. They still have an open roster spot, so it’ll be interesting what they do with that, but nonetheless, the season is coming.

Golden State plays the Lakers as the second game to kick off the season. They’ll then play the Clippers the following game, so the Warriors will certainly have a few strong tests to commence the season.

With Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis leading the charge in Los Angeles, the Warriors will have to bring their top game if they hope to kick the season off like they left the preseason.

That said, let’s dive into a couple of bold predictions for the Warriors’ first game of the 2021-2022 season.
