Making plans is always a thrilling experience when you are fully aware of how unpredictable life can be. For the Golden State Warriors, an aurora of cautious optimism is filling the air as they begin to brace for the 2021-22 NBA season.

The preseason certainly did enough to lift their spirits. After back-to-back disastrous seasons in which the wheels nearly fell off – the Warriors rattled off five straight wins in the preseason, giving them an 11-2 record dating back to last season (both losses being the Play-In games).

The Golden State Warriors will be hoping for the best this season as they embark on a journey back to NBA title contention — if all goes as planned, of course.

There is much to be excited about if you are a fan of the Warriors. Even the most skeptic analysts have the team bordering on another playoff run with the most generous projections pushing the team over 50 wins for the first time since 2019.

Even so, there are some drastically different ways this season could turn out. In order to prepare for opening night, let us look at the best and worst case scenarios for the Warriors.
