A look at how the Warriors unit fares without Stephen Curry in the mix

Our bet would be that Poole, Porter, Bjelica, Damion Lee and Andre Iguodala would be the ones playing the non-Curry and Green minutes. Just swap Curry with Poole. What this does is put a unit that’s got the perfect blend of power and experience.

It is no surprise that when Curry was on the bench the Warriors pretty much were a damp squib.

However, with Poole averaging the way he is on 50 percent shooting, that issue will be solved, even if it is against a side that has explosive playmakers in Russell Westbrook and some shooting firepower of their own.

Iguodala’s rich experience makes him a valuable asset when they take on the Lakers. He has played enough against LeBron and his presence on the floor is more than just motivation.

One of the primary reasons having Iguodala back in the mix is his IQ. His ability to figure our defenses and dual up as a point guard are exactly what the Warriors need in a veteran player, especially against a quality Lakers outfit.
