I know that we’re just two games in, but if there’s one thing that’s clear, it’s the Los Angeles Lakers beat themselves. The Golden State Warriors then beat the Los Angeles Clippers as two-time MVP Stephen Curry exploded.

The Lakers are a team that received quite a bit of hype. While walking into Staples Center and leaving with a win is always impressive, how the Warriors defended and were exposed should raise some eyebrows. That goes with how the Dubs took on the Clippers as well.

The Warriors have looked great through two games, making them look like legit contenders. That’s why they should explode a trade for Christian Wood.

The Warriors came out with a win in both instances, but it wasn’t pretty. A 25-point first quarter from Stephen Curry along with a rocking crowd at the Chase Center helped play a large part in the team’s home-opening success.

However, there were notable flaws. The Warriors committed 21 turnovers to Los Angeles’ 7. Jordan Poole had 7 of them, so he’ll need to figure out it. There should be hope that he does just that as the star potential is clearly there.

That said, one of the top features from these first two games is that this Warriors team can contend, and they could add a third star to truly be among the league’s favorites. With that in mind, let’s dive into why Rockets’ Christian Wood would be the perfect addition.
