In another well-rounded team performance, the Golden State Warriors separated themselves after a tight first three quarters, outscoring the Kings 29-19 in the final period.
The Kings led for much of the early portion, leading 62-60 at the half. After a memorable 45 point outburst against the Clippers, Stephen Curry again propelled the Warriors with 17 points and seven assists to keep the Warriors within two.
The Golden State Warriors have moved to 3-0 to start the season for the first time since 2015, beating the Sacramento Kings 119-107 on Sunday.
After a plethora of lead changes throughout the game, the teams were deadlocked at 94 apiece with 9:48 left in the game. But after Gary Payton II nailed the second of his two fourth quarter three-pointers, the Warriors took the lead and never trailed again.
Incredibly, and no doubt pleasingly for Steve Kerr and the coaching staff, the Warriors made their fourth quarter run without any scoring contribution from Curry, who had his game-high 27 points within the first three periods.
It was part of another team performance from the Warriors who, like they did against the Lakers, had six players score in double figures. Draymond Green was particularly busy offensively, taking 12 shots on his way to 14 points and six assists.
Jordan Poole also bounced back with a season high 22 points and three steals.
