It feels like just yesterday Stephen Curry was the reigning two-time MVP, fresh off one of the greatest individual seasons in basketball history. Now, the Golden State Warriors are two-time losers — missing the NBA Playoffs in consecutive seasons.

However, things have changed since their pitiful 2019-20 NBA season. They are even better than last year when they won an impressive 39 games with a plethora of injuries. No, this season is different and Curry is making an early statement.

The Golden State Warriors might have an MVP season on their hands as Stephen Curry is quickly running away with his third award.

Golden State is 3-0 with a sweep of their Californian rivals. Along the way, Curry has been leading the charge and putting the league on notice that he might be back in the MVP race again. Do not forget, he finished top three last season even with his team missing the postseason.
