It was a comfortable night for the Golden State Warriors inside Chase Center, a big victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder allowing them to unveil their prized draft pick in Jonathan Kuminga.

The number seven overall pick entered the game with around six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, having been inactive for the first five games this season whilst recovering from a knee injury sustained in the preseason. He brought up his first official NBA points with just over two minutes to go, a wing three set up by Juan Toscano-Anderson.

In their second game against the Thunder in the past week, the Golden State Warriors were never really threatened as they ran away with a 103-82 victory.

They opened up an eight-point lead after the first quarter thanks to an impressive Draymond Green. He scored nine of the team’s first 15 points in what was a near triple double performance from the 3x NBA All-Star (14 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists).

An Andrew Wiggins three, one of his four for the night, extended the lead to 48-30 with just over three minutes remaining in the second quarter. The Thunder rallied and threatened to bring themselves back into the game, finishing the half on a 14-7 run.

Golden State put pay to any such hopes, outscoring the Thunder 27-14 in the third to take an unassailable 24 point lead. The lead stretched to 31 late in the game before the Thunder tried to put some respectability on the scoreboard, the Warriors comfortably taking a 21 point victory to move to 5-1 on the season.
