Golden State Warriors’ player that’s impressed: Stephen Curry

It’s not a surprise that Stephen Curry has impressed, but the three-time NBA Champion has carried the Warriors in several games, especially in the first quarter. To kick off the season, Curry had a triple-double.

Following that performance, Curry went off for 45 points against the Clippers. While it’s too early to say for certain, Curry is averaging over 30 points per game, and if that held true, it would be the third time in his career he notched over 30 in a season.

On top of scoring, he’s averaging 8.0 rebounds, the most of his illustrious career, and 6.6 assists per game. He’s elevated his impact on the court, and it’s been necessary at times in this young season.

While the superstar has struggled at times to do his work efficiently, that should come around. He’s too good to continue to shoot under 40 percent from deep. Yet, at the same time, teams constantly swarm him with two or three defenders.

For the role that’s been forced upon him as by far the most lethal scorer on this team, Curry has answered the call early in the season.
