If the Golden State Warriors wanted to be a playoff-contending team, then they’ve accomplished their task.

Their hot start to the season, having won their first four games of the season, put the league on notice. Two-time MVP Stephen Curry is primed and looking like a potential candidate for the award for a third time.

The Golden State Warriors are going to end this season as one of the best teams in the Western Conference, but via the trade market, they could get even better.

Curry and the rejuvenated three-time All-Star forward Draymond Green are going to prove that they can still run the league in the regular season. With Klay Thompson set to return at the end of the calendar year, the Warriors should be one of the best teams in the league.

To win the NBA Championship, as many on this team know, the team needs to be among the best of the best. Are they there? Can they compete with teams like Brooklyn, Milwaukee, and Utah? If the answer is no, can a trade help them get there?

That said, assuming you thought that Golden State may be one player away, let’s dive into three players that I feel could help the Warriors take that step as an organization.
