The Golden State Warriors have played 8 games.

They’re 7-1. Now, while most Golden State fans aren’t necessarily pessimists, the majority should also admit that the Warriors starting their first eight games with only a single loss is not what was expected of this team.

The Golden State Warriors have title expectations set on them this season after their electric start. They may need to fix these little flaws though.

Why? Well, because the Warriors missed the playoffs last season and didn’t make any stellar offseason additions.

After back-to-back losses in the play-in tournament, their season ended. It was disappointing, but it wasn’t necessarily shocking as the Warriors were single-handedly carried by two-time MVP Stephen Curry.

Curry was the league’s scoring champion. Now, when Curry has scored 20 or fewer points, the Warriors are 2-0. They’re not bad when Curry doesn’t absolutely dominate, and it’s been a pleasant surprise for fans.

Golden State, given that development, have title expectations set on them. Stephen A. Smith believes they can win a championship at full strength. There are still a few early-season flaws they need to mend though. Let’s dive into what those are.
