Golden State Warriors: 3 Stats that define 2021-22 NBA season so far

It was still early in the first half, but when Andre Iguodala took a post-fadeaway on the baseline against the New Orleans Pelicans, something told me it would be a good night for the Golden State Warriors.
My feeling was right, with the Dubs rattling off a 40 point victory behind an all-around team effort. They annihilated the Pelicans in what felt like a welcome home party for the franchise. This team is not going to worry about ping pong balls in the NBA Draft Lottery this summer. Instead, they’ll be chasing after something much more meaningful.
The Golden State Warriors are working their way back to the top of the NBA food chain and these three stats summarize their season so far.
The ship is sailing smoothly but that does not mean the coast is clear. We have seen breakout performances from multiple names such as Jordan Poole, Damion Lee and Gary Payton II. Will the supporting cast continue to be this strong throughout the season? There is just no telling.
What we do know, however, is how the Warriors have faired through the first month of the season. We have a big enough sample size to learn some things about this team. So, let us take a look at three statistics that have defined the 2021-22 NBA season thus far.
