Nov. 12 versus Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls kicked off the 2021-22 NBA season strong by winning their first four games out of the gate. Their offseason additions have made all the difference as they are tied for the second-best record in the Eastern Conference.

Chicago has dropped two of their last three and cooled off a bit since their red-hot start to the season but each of their three losses has come by just a combined 15 points. Meanwhile, they are winning games by an average of 12.1 points.

What has been the key to Chicago’s success? A dynamic backcourt rotation of Zach LaVine, Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso have complimented each other well. LaVine is a hyper-athletic scorer while Ball and Caruso have left their fingerprints as all-around complete guards.

Leading the team in scoring, however, is DeMar DeRozan. The veteran wing is posting 26.9 points and providing the boost of experience this team needed to take the next step. Holding it all down in the paint is Nikola Vucevic, a former All-Star who is averaging 13.2 points and 11.0 rebounds.

The Bulls have a versatile roster that can respond to anything opponents throw at them. This will make it an interesting night for the Warriors as they attempt to pick the right approach to neutralize the NBA’s most surprising team.
