The Golden State Warriors have won nine of their ten games. Now that’s almost a 73-win pace when looked at 82 games. The near-perfect performances coupled with Stephen Curry’s latest 50-point explosion against the Atlanta Hawks can only mean one thing: Will they win a chip?

Prior to that humdinger performance for Golden State, Curry was shooting 37.4 percent from the 3s, all the while inching closer to the most 3s shot in the history of the league. Per The Athletic, he never shot less than 41 percent from 3s and his field shooting was never below 45.

With the kind of form the Golden State Warriors have shown in ten games and Stephen Curry balling, they are bonafide contenders for a fourth title

Now that he’s notched up a masterclass, one that the world will see more of over the course of the season, Curry’s put his hand up for a third MVP title, while looking to deliver a fourth title for the Warriors.

A lot of things have gone right for the side since the start of the NBA season. Their warm-ups were taken seriously and were looked at as platforms to nail their game plan early on. It helped that they won game after game to be the well-oiled unit they look like at present.

Talking about Stephen Curry, he’s shown that he’s not the guy who can find the shot at any stage of the quarter. He’s upped his defense, something very Draciel-like this time around. He rebounds a lot more, and the years of experience meant his playmaking skills have certainly climbed a rung higher.

Carmelo Anthony’s just-can’t-miss run has already made him an early candidate for MVP. After he soared over the Hawks, Curry just injected life into his campaign and stake a claim.

It’s no secret that an improved defense has been the key factor behind the Warriors winning their games. With Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins already rattling the opposition, the rest of the team, now embracing their roles have all built their game around defense.

As far as the conversation for the Warriors winning the NBA 2021-22 Championship goes, the start they have had makes them early favorites. They’re the only team with just one loss in the games they have played so far.

Placed below them are Utah Jazz 8-3 and their competition from the Eastern Conference comes mainly from the improved Chicago Bulls, the consistent-looking Miami Heat, and the competitive Philadelphia 76ers, all winning 7 games at a minimum.

With the sort of momentum, the depth, the form, the reading of the offense, precision moves, and building their defense, the Warriors going off the boil is hard to envision and odds are they will not go through long stretches with L’s next to their name.

The pieces are falling together for the Warriors and they have a leader in Stephen Curry who’s holding them together and being a natural leader on the hardwood and off it. So early prediction? We’d still back the Warriors to be bonafide contenders to win.
