It’s been an electric start to the season for the Golden State Warriors.

They’ve kicked off the season 10-1. They are the only team in the NBA without at least three losses, and they don’t even have two yet this season. They’ve proven enough to already be considered one of the most dangerous teams in the league.

The Golden State Warriors are contenders. They’re among the best teams in the NBA, and trading for another star doesn’t seem likely anymore.

The Warriors rank first in a plethora of categories. They rank atop the league in defensive rating and are even better in the third quarter. While the Warriors have dominated, they’ve done it behind a terrific defense and the dominance of Stephen Curry.

It hasn’t been an overpowering of superstars that have propelled them but rather a full team effort typically leading the way, that is when Curry isn’t dropping 45 or 50 points.

Nonetheless, the level of shotmaking outside of Curry is still in question, especially since they haven’t taken on the Jazz or Nets, two of the top title favorites coming into the season.

Can Jordan Poole hold up? What level will Klay Thompson return at? Those two must step up if Curry gets swarmed in bigger games, if they can, especially Thompson following two season-ending injuries, is still to be determined.

If they do need more stardom, let’s dive into three ultra-popular names that they need to easily pass on.
