3 Reasons Golden State Warriors are legit contenders

Back like they never left, the Golden State Warriors are the best team in the NBA and many are feeling reminiscent of that first championship team from 2015.
Yes, it is a good time to be a Dubs fan. The squad is playing like they have something to prove. And, they do have something to prove, as Stephen Curry and Draymond Green are not too fond of missing the playoffs two seasons in a row.
Then, there is the rest of the roster, who has a whole lot to prove. Andrew Wiggins reminded us how great he can be when he is motivated, detonating against his former team in what felt like a statement game.
Meanwhile, the Dubs’ supporting cast is a collection of unproven assets and veterans looking for one last hoorah. As a unit, this team is looking to do something great. Something that will be remembered for decades to come.
The Golden State Warriors have had an easy start to the season but these three reasons prove that they are legit contenders.
But, are the Warriors legit? They have had an easy path to a 10-1 record. At least, as “easy” as one could be. Nevertheless, they have dominated just about every matchup and look to be on the right track with some challenging games ahead of them.
Let’s analyze three reasons the Dubs will emerge as true contenders, not pretenders, as the season goes on.
