Golden State Warriors have a dynamic offense
If the Golden State Warriors’ defense is in unity, then their offense is playing with complete harmony. They are playing beautiful basketball right now.
Every player on the roster is connected. The ball is on a string between the five players on the court, constantly zipping around. What’s more impressive, however, is their off-ball movement, which always seems to be free-flowing.
The Dubs never stop moving. If the initial action is not there, they seamlessly transition into another option. These constant ball-screens, hand-offs and cuts to the hoop have kept the Warriors buzzing while opposing defenses are frequently caught sleeping.
Dishing 29.6 assists per game, the Warriors lead the entire league in this department. They also score the most points and make the most 3-pointers.
At the front of it all is Stephen Curry, who ranks second in scoring at 27.4 points per game. This is impressive considering Curry has not even been that good sparring two explosive performances. Once Curry hits his stride, this offense will be really tough to slow.
What’s more, Jordan Poole‘s emergence has put the Warriors in a position they have never been in. For the first time, they have two elite ball-handlers and live-action passers sharing the backcourt. This has kept the Dubs with a floor general on the floor at all times and it has allowed them to relentlessly attack opponents for 48 minutes.
