Golden State Warriors v Brooklyn Nets: Two Key Stats

1. Wiggins hitting his stride

He may have got going against his former team last week, but Andrew Wiggins has continued his aggressiveness in the three games since. In his last four overall, Wiggins has averaged over 24 points per game, on nearly 60% from the floor and 40% from 3-point range.

It’s the kind of aggressiveness Curry and Steve Kerr want to continue seeing. Without him, they don’t beat Minnesota, don’t get close against Charlotte, and don’t go into the half with as much momentum as they did against Brooklyn.

How long will this version of Wiggins continue, and how will the inclusion of Klay Thompson affect his overall game?

2. Bench shooting down again

Curry, Wiggins and Green combined for 12-19 from three against the Nets. Everyone else combined for 1-21, including the bench going 1-14.

It’s quite incredible they won with such ease given those numbers, but it’s the second straight game where the bench has struggled from beyond the arc. Although reliance on Curry is always going to be there in some capacity, even he isn’t going to go 9-14 from deep every night.
