The Golden State Warriors went into New York and came out with a 117-99 win. No, they weren’t playing the Knicks. They were facing the Kevin Durant-led Nets, and they looked like the clear better team on Tuesday.

The Dubs came in as underdogs, and they certainly weren’t expected to absolutely destroy the Nets. However, that’s how it happened, and there were many players that contributed to Golden State’s 12th win.

The Golden State Warriors went into Barclays Center coming off a loss two days ago in Charlotte and absolutely throttled the Brooklyn Nets.

Everything revolved around two-time MVP Stephen Curry. While much is expected of the only player in the league averaging 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists, he took his game to the next level. Curry finished the game with a game-high 37 points.

While Curry did cook in the first quarter, Durant kept the Nets in the game. However, he ended with just 19 on 6-of-19 shooting. While Durant missed some shots he typically makes, it was Draymond Green‘s defense that forced many of those misses.

James Harden did make a few timely shots, trying to keep Brooklyn in the game. He ended with a team-high 24 points.

The Warriors finally got that statement win after a long homestand that had many looking at their weak schedule as to why they had the best record in the league. That said, let’s dive into four winners and two losers from the Dubs dominating win.
