Hidden weapons

The NBA is all about adaptability. The best teams in the league all have the necessary tools to survive any situation. Perhaps no one does this better than the Golden State Warriors who have an entire arsenal of hidden weapons at their disposal.

This was apparent on Thursday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers when Juan Toscano-Anderson stepped in to provide the brutal defense needed to stimy Darius Garland, who began the game with 18 first half points before JTA and Draymond Green held him to just 7 points on 3-of-10 shooting in the second half.

This is not the first time Golden State made an on-the-fly adjustment to secure a win. With the best point differential in the third quarter by a mile, the Dubs have always been known for their adjustments.

Need a burst of defensive energy in the backcourt? Time to call in Gary Payton II. Is there a lack of length and toughness on the perimeter? JTA or Andre Iguodala can step in. Shooting and playmaking? Nemanja Bjelica and Damion Lee will provide the goods.

Golden State is ready for the moment. There is not a single position you can put them in that does not fit one of their many skeleton lineups.
