Could you ask for a better gift this holiday season? Klay Thompson will be making his long-awaited return to the Golden State Warriors sometime before the new year if all goes as planned.

Thompson has been on the sideline since Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals when he tore his ACL on a freak transition play. His initial recovery was derailed by an Achilles injury suffered last November.

Just over a year later, Klay has been cleared for full participation in practice. That means full contact and 5-on-5 scrimmages for the Splash Bro. Soon, Thompson will storm back onto the court, for real.

Klay Thompson’s return to the Golden State Warriors should come by Christmas day, bringing a monsoon of changes to the NBA.

Thompson could not have picked a better time to rejoin his team. Golden State is rolling after consecutive years of faltering. They hold the best record in the league and are practically rolling the red carpet for Thompson to vault them over the top as title contenders.
