While it’s still a good bit away, the Golden State Warriors will be taking on the Phoenix Suns in back-to-back games.

The two on the schedule in the immediate future are slated for November 30 and December 3. The two will meet again on Christmas which is setting up nicely to be the best game of the beloved holiday.

The Golden State Warriors and the Phoenix Suns are the two hottest teams in the NBA, and in the next few weeks, they’ll meet either twice in back-to-back style.

Both are sitting at the top of the Western Conference with Phoenix currently riding a 13-game win streak, the best in the league. While the Warriors cannot top that, at 15-2, they do have the best record in the league, an indicator of just how dominant they’ve been.

Similarly, both teams are led by their lethal backcourt. The Warriors have two-time MVP Stephen Curry leading the way with shooting guard Jordan Poole notching over 17 points per game, the second most for Golden State.

As for the Suns, they’re led by Devin Booker and Chris Paul.

Booker, a two-time All-Star guard, averaged over 22 points per game. His 43.7% shooting is the worst for the star guard since the 2017-2018 season. Paul has also been a stud for Phoenix as he’s turned into the team’s late-game scorer.

Despite being 36, Paul is still averaging 13.9 points per game, knocking down 47% of his shots. The combination of Paul and Booker, along with Deandre Ayton, has made Phoenix a powerhouse, especially coming off a trip to the NBA Finals.

What’s crazy is that the Warriors have the best net rating at 12.9, and the Suns are almost halfway there, fourth in the league with a 6.6 net rating. Between the two are the Utah Jazz and Miami Heat.

Both teams are also top six in assist ratio, true shooting percentage and pace, meaning this is going to be a high-energy game, one that should be thrilling for fans.

Splitting the two-game series would make sense and is a likely outcome, but if the Warriors can get by with both, they’ll have created good separation at the top of the West. With both teams surging, these will be must-watch games.
