Stephen Curry is still peaking.

The wild thing of it all is that Curry reached another height in his career but, somehow, still shows some upside.

He is even more physical, as his core strength has improved, and more comfortable than ever in taking contact in finishes near the basket (59% under 5 feet, a solid mark for a non-dunker guard). This season, Steph is proving how valuable his defense is.

He is an active part of the best defense in basketball, with intelligent and gritty performances, corroborated by a career-high defensive rating. He has always been a constant presence in the steals department through the years, which might be a good sign of his legacy.

In 2021-2022, Steph leads all Warriors with 1.7 steals a game, a current top 5 in the NBA. Once considered a liability as a defender, Curry is proving people wrong one more time.

The impact of Stephen Curry in the game goes way beyond stats. His gravity is one of the factors that transformed the Warriors franchise into one of the NBA’s greatest victors.
