Golden State Warriors’ No. 7: Paul Arizin

22.8 points per game, 2,3 assists per game, 8.6 rebounds per game covering ten seasons with the Warriors in Philadelphia.

Paul Arizin played his entire ten year career with the Warriors, with a two-year gap in his career to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Arizin was a pivotal part of the 1956 Championship run by the Warriors, averaging 28.9 points per game in the playoffs that season. Despite his generation, Arizin made strides the franchise and was truly dominant.

The ten time All-Star lead the league in scoring twice and made the All-NBA team four times, while finishing in second place in the MVP race in 1956.

Arizin pitched in over 16,000 points during his career. It should be a career more often tabled about.
