Golden State Warriors most table player: Moses Moody

At the beginning of the season, the team was giving Moses Moody spotty minutes. Kuminga, their first pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, was sidelined with an injury, so they wanted to see what Moody had to offer.

He showed enough to be a capable trade target for teams looking to rebuild. With that in mind, there’s probably enough depth on the Warriors team for them to hang onto him, but if the right trade is there for a player that would contribute, it’s worth a look.

Moody averaged 1.6 points per game but 9.7 per 36 minutes. He’s not shooting well from the field, but his defense and limited scoring have been enough to see his upside. His massive wingspan adds to why he could be a solid prospect.

Again, the Warriors clearly didn’t want to part ways with the No. 14 overall pick, and there’s no reason to think they’re unhappy with Moody’s play. However, it’s also not smart to think he’d be what holds up a trade that makes them title favorites, if they aren’t already.

Moody needs more time to really see what he’s capable of, but in limited action, he’s looked good enough to potentially be on other team’s radars.
