Golden State Warriors most table player: Nemanja Bjelica

Nemanja Bjelica started off the season on fire and was well in the rotation for Golden State. Over the past few weeks, that’s changed as Juan Toscano-Anderon and Kuminga have been given more time behind Green.

Bjelica has a unique skill set. He typically needs to be hidden defensively but spaces the floor well enough to always garner consideration for a rotation spot. Bjelica could certainly be a rotation player for a championship-contending team.

He would fit perfectly in Atlanta or Miami’s system. This season, he’s averaging 14.6 minutes and 6.7 points per game. he’s also shooting 39% from deep which is huge. His minutes dropped to 12.8 over the team’s last 6 games.

Bjelica’s main attribute is his shooting, but with more athletic players looking for minutes as well, having those two-way players is what Kerr would prefer. Bjelica should still get rotational minutes and can light a spark in the offense.

But, at the same time, his play has easily made him a candidate for a contending team to propose a trade for him.
