Golden State Warriors player impacted by Thompson’s return: Stephen Curry

Lastly, Stephen Curry is going to be impacted. Curry broke the all-time three-pointers made record this season, and he’s continuing to shatter records that were previously thought to be unattainable.

Curry’s usage may take a hit with Thompson on the court, and how he will operate will undoubtedly change. Make no mistake though, everything that is going to change should only make the Warriors a better team.

Curry and Thompson have a brother-like bond, and Curry knows how to play alongside the five-time All-Star.

Thompson, Green, and Curry have made Golden State what it is today. Curry’s usage rate is currently the third-highest of his career, considering seasons in which he’s played more than ten games.

Curry’s mindset should change some upon Thompson’s return as there will be more star power on the court. Nonetheless, for Curry, Thompson’s return should only positively impact his play as the offense should be opened up more.
