The consistent Utah Jazz  vs the near-perfect Warriors

The Warriors are yet to play Utah this season and their first encounter is slated for January 1. The last time these two sides faced off, Golden State walked off with a close 119-116 win. And despite the 2-1 record against the Jazz, they failed to make the playoffs.

At the time of writing, the Jazz are the only team with a 47.7 FG% in the league and are ahead of the Warriors by 0.2 (GSW are 47.5). The latter are marginally ahead in 3P%, 37.0 in comparison to Jazz’s 36.6.

The numbers are pretty much close, but they don’t matter if the Jazz continue to play the way they have so far in the season. Their record may be 15-7, but their next games against the Boston Celtics, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Memphis give them a chance to prep better before they face a red-hot Warriors team early next year.

Donovan Mitchell has been in the points for Jazz averaging 23.7 PPG, 4.1 REB, and 5.1 AST. He will be their key offensive presence when they take the hardwood against the Warriors.
