Golden State Warriors: 3 teams that pose a tough challenge
The new-look and impressive Chicago Bulls
For the first time in years, Bulls fans believe that they have a roster that can maybe just win the championship. Their big four in DeMar DeRozan, Lonzo Ball, Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso have combined to play a key role in the Bulls’ 16-8 run.
They shot out James Harden and Kevin Durant handing the team a stinging 111-107 loss at Barclays Center on Saturday. The Bulls have been one of those teams that have effectively drained 3s and played some quality defense throughout the tournament.
A scrappy defensive team with a healthy dose of offensive punch is nothing to balk at in this league. The Bulls have what it takes to frustrate opponents on both ends.
Again, their FG% and 3P% may be lesser than that of the Warriors, and they may have suffered a 93-119 loss against Steve Kerr’s men earlier this season, but they have the team that can take them the distance and perhaps stuns Golden State in their next encounter on January 14.
