Where there is smoke, there is fire. Trade season is a few months away and the rumors are already emerging. Will the Golden State Warriors be involved this year?

Over the last two seasons, the Warriors have made numerous changes via trade. It all began with a sign-and-trade that brought D’Angelo Russell to the Bay in the aftermath of Kevin Durant’s decision to join Brooklyn.

Since then, Golden State has traded for Andrew Wiggins and a first round pick that turned into Jonathan Kuminga, as well as Kelly Oubre (who they lost in free agency this summer).

Still, they have stayed put throughout the bulk of trade season. The rumors swirled in a frenzy throughout last year but the Warriors chose to stick to their guns. This has paid off, as the Dubs have opened the current season with a 20-4 record.

A firesale has started in Indiana. Should the Golden State Warriors be interested in any of the players being placed on the trading block?

However, other teams have not matched the Warriors’ success. In particular, the Indiana Pacers have officially hit the panic button and placed names like Myles Turner, Caris LeVert and Domantas Sabonis on the trading block.

Today, we look at each available asset and determine if any of them are worth the Warriors’ consideration.
