Golden State Warriors potential target: Goran Dragić

This would be a stellar addition for the Golden State Warriors. Having a player like Dragic come off the bench would be huge.

He has the ability to make his own shot while also creating shots for others which could be incredibly important if Poole ever struggles to find his rhythm. As for Dragic, he’s currently with the Raptors, who are looking towards the future with rookie forward Scottie Barnes.

Dragic has only played in 5 games, so there’s not much sample size to work with. In those games, he’s averaging 8 points per game, shooting under 40% from the field. He has a career 46% field goal percentage, so there’s not much to worry about in terms of his efficiency.

Just last season he averaged over 13 points per game and shot 43% from the field. Dragic is on a team option that’s valued at $19.4 million, so it would likely take quite a bit to get him to the Bay Area.

Dragic is good, but at that value, it would be nearly impossible. He would be a great addition. Bringing in a former All-Star guard could only make the Warriors most lethal, especially one with the accolades and experience of Dragic.
