There was a lot of discussion around the Golden State Warriors in the offseason; many pundits were skeptical of the franchise’s aims to bridge the now with the future.

The Dubs were and still are in a unique position, armed with future Hall of Famers in Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson, along with the untapped potential of James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga, and Moses Moody.

The Golden State Warriors are tied for the best record in the NBA, and a huge reason for their success has been the attitude and play of Draymond Green.

The outside media weren’t the only ones questioning the team’s aspirations. Green himself was doubting the Warriors’ ability to execute the bold move, one that’s quite unconventional throughout recent NBA history.

Back on October 1st, Green was hesitant in putting his support behind management’s strategy. Having been a contributor to different roster ideas in the past, he seemingly distanced himself from the front office.

Now, with the Warriors a league-leading 21-4, it appears Green has changed his attitude in relation to the Warriors roster.

Speaking with Andre Iguodala on his new podcast, The Draymond Green Show, the former Defensive Player of the Year had nothing but praise for the Warriors playing group, and that’s a great sign for the long-term and short-term health of this franchise.

"“I know for me, I’m looking at this team, we kinda got this mix of young and experienced. It feels right, the team feels good…the aura’s right, the vibe is great. The coaching staff have been incredible…this feels real 2015-16 ish for me”."

It’s not overly surprising given Green’s attitude reflected much of the fanbase.

Many, perhaps including him, thought this team needed fast-paced development from Wiseman, Kuminga, and Moody in order to be championship contenders again. Most fans would’ve agreed with that before the season started.

From what we’ve witnessed so far, any contribution from those three is simply a bonus on what is already a very good team. Winning ultimately answers and alleviates concerns that may have been in place, Green’s changing attitude is just another example of that.
