While many didn’t think the Golden State Warriors would be this hot out the gate, here we are with a team likely to compete for a title.

At 21-4, that’s at least how it has felt with the Warriors defeating the Bulls and Suns both at home and traveling to the Nets and winning in the Barclays Center. Those three games have shown their resilience and demeanor.

The Golden State Warriors are one of the teams likely to make a trade to improve their roster, but any deal with the Indiana Pacers wouldn’t make much sense.

The Indiana Pacers have opened up most of their team to the trading block, and it’s shocking, to say the least, after they selected one of the oldest players in the draft, Chris Duarte. The Pacers are 11-16, the third-worst team in the Eastern Conference.

Players like Myles Turner, Caris LeVert, and Domantas Sabonis are potentially going to be headed elsewhere by the time the trade deadline comes around. All three will make a team significantly better, but none of the three really make sense for the Warriors to add to their roster.

The biggest need for Golden State at the current moment is for a backup point guard. With that in mind, let’s dive into two reasons why the Warriors shouldn’t look into bringing any Pacers to the Bay Area.
