There is a lot to be happy about in the Bay Area as we approach the end of 2021. The Golden State Warriors are 21-4, Stephen Curry is on the verge of history (again) and Klay Thompson’s return is just around the corner.

However, the Dubs didn’t get here overnight. It was a grueling two seasons without Thompson and it would be a disservice to every member of this team to ignore their resilience. They stuck to the plan and created an environment for Klay to thrive in when he returns.

The Golden State Warriors are battling for the top seed in the Western Conference once again. Here are three positive trends entering the New Year.

How did they cultivate this environment?

It was not easy. They endured consecutive seasons finishing in the lottery before breakout performances from Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Gary Payton II and Damion Lee helped build a supporting cast worthy of being led by Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.

Each member of the Dubs has contributed to their early success. It is a full team effort, but these three keys have stood out as the main reasons for their blazing hot start to the season.
