Golden State Warriors v New York Knicks: Two Key Stats

1. Curry’s memorable night

Curry’s record night was merely a confirmation of his status as the greatest shooter of all time. It was just another broken record on a long list that the two-time MVP has compiled, evidenced by Micah Adams on Twitter.

2. Poole’s all around scoring ability

The third year guard has displayed an ability to find different ways to score this season, again demonstrated in his 19 point game against the Knicks. Although it’s been the deep shooting and crafty finishing that’s grabbed much attention, those aspects weren’t necessarily on display as Poole went 3-11 from the floor and 0-6 from three-point range.

Instead, Poole had career highs in free throw makes and free throw attempts. He finished the night making 100%, 13-13 at the line allowing him to contribute despite poor shooting from the field.

The Warriors now have two days off before entering another back-to-back, starting with the Boston Celtics on Friday.
