The Golden State Warriors may soon be in a position where available bodies are a premium, and if that’s in the near future, they’ll need a plan to get 8 active players suited up.

Some veterans could provide relief for teams looking to avoid canceling their games. With many games already canceled, the fear around the league should be that many more are going to have to come before we’re through this most recent wave of Covid-19.

The Golden State Warriors may have a loaded roster, but even they may need to sign a few additional bodies to field a team in the near future.

Right now, the Warriors have Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole in health and safety protocols. Those two respectively rank second and third in scoring for this team, so it’s a couple of crucial players out for Golden State.

Damion Lee, who was set to start in place for Poole, is also out in health and safety protocol with Andre Iguodala out with an injury as well. The team is down four key rotational players, and it could easily get worse in the coming days.

With that in mind, adding more faces, especially those that have been around the league, doesn’t seem like a bad idea. That said, let’s dive into two veterans the team could add to remedy an issue likely to become more pressing in the next few days.
