Otto Porter Jr. is trending UP

It always felt like Otto Porter Jr. would emerge as one of the most consistent members of the Golden State Warriors’ second unit but his value has been center stage recently.

No one could ignore when Porter was drilling daggers on Christmas Day over the Phoneix Suns. HIs red-hot fourth quarter pushed the Dubs into first place in the NBA and was a testament to his ability to do precisely what Golden State needs from its bench.

Porter is the veteran 3-and-D player the Warriors were missing last season. He’s posting 8.0 points on 40.0 percent shooting from deep while having the length and versatility to match any lineup the Dubs include him in.

Even when Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins return to the lineup, we can expect to see Porter routinely get on the floor. Especially when the playoffs begin.
