The Golden State Warriors are gearing up for what should be an epic second half of the season.

Having taken down the Devin Booker-led Phoenix Suns despite being short-handed on Christmas Day, the Warriors should be looking to continue their reign over the Western Conference. They’re currently sitting in first place at 27-6.

Not even at full strength yet, the Golden State Warriors are already the best team in the NBA, but these three trade targets could make them even better.

It will be made more challenging with the league’s health and safety protocols impacting Draymond Green‘s availability. Green will join Andrew Wiggins, who missed the team’s game on Saturday. Jordan Poole has recently been cleared though.

With two straight games against the Nuggets and then the Jazz and Heat on the calendar, things will certainly not get easier for Golden State. However, after their performances through 33 games, they don’t have much left to prove in terms of being a top-tier contender.

But, beating the Suns twice in the regular season and knocking off the Bucks, Nets or Jazz in a 7-game series is a different story. To help solidify their roster, they could certainly make a trade prior to the February 10, 2022, trade deadline.

Let’s dive into what realistic additions would be on my bucket list for Golden state.
