We are only a month away from the 2022 NBA All-Star Game and if all goes as planned, the Golden State Warriors will find themselves boasting three stars in Cleveland this February.

The Golden State Warriors have a legit case for three All-Stars this season. Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins and Stephen Curry all deserve it.

During their previous runs to the NBA Finals, the Warriors grew accustomed to seeing three, sometimes even four members of the team represent Golden State at the All-Star Game.

Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson have competed together three times while the Splash Brothers have appeared alongside each other five times. Curry has been a lone wolf twice.

At their peak, the Dubs boasted four All-Stars, with Kevin Durant completing their squad in 2018 and 2019. This marked just the eighth and ninth time in league history a single team had four All-Stars.

Stephen Curry’s case is obvious

I don’t think we need to spend much time explaining why Curry is going to be an All-Star this season. He’s averaging 27.7 points and 6.0 assists — and will likely top 400 single-season 3-pointers yet again.

Even without his current MVP status, Curry is such a fan favorite, he’d be voted as a starter regardless.

Draymond Green should make a triumphant return to All-Star weekend

Less obvious, to some, is Green’s case to return to All-Star weekend.

Green doesn’t fit the mold of a typical All-Star, so he is often left out of the conversation despite being one of the best players in the entire league.

Leading the NBA’s strongest defense as a serious candidate for Defensive Player of the Year, while also posting averages of 8.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.4 assists — it is hard to see why Draymond wouldn’t be a member of the All-Star team.

Andrew Wiggins deserves his first All-Star selection

The toughest part of this equation is getting Wiggins to his first career All-Star Game. He’s been plagued by his pre-draft hype for years but Wiggins is finally emerging as a star and it is only right he gets his recognition.

On the season, Wiggins is putting up 19.0 points and 4.5 rebounds on a career-best 48.7 percent shooting from the floor and 43.4 percent 3-point clip. He’s one of the most effective wing defenders in the NBA and is filling his role on offense to perfection.

With Paul George and Kawhi Leonard injured, is there any reason Wiggins will not reach the All-Star Game? How many forwards are playing better basketball right now in the West?
