The Golden State Warriors are coming off a thrilling win against the Utah Jazz.
They have now taken down both the Suns and the Jazz while missing key players. Against Utah, they were down Draymond Green, and against Phoenix, the Warriors were missing Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole, their second and third best scoring threats.
The Golden State Warriors have been incredible against top-tier opponents this season, and it’s certainly been anything from an anomaly.
Both opponents were operating at near full strength. Simply put, while a role player or two might have been out, they have their entire starting five and the bulk of their second unit.
The Warriors continue to cement themselves as the No. 1 team in the NBA. Having also taken down teams like the Chicago Bulls and Brooklyn Nets, the Warriors have soared to the top of the Western Conference.
This wasn’t a place the Warriors were expected to be in, many thought they would just survive until the return of Klay Thompson, not thrive. With Klay Thompson’s return in the near future, the sky is the limit for these Warriors.
