Golden State Warriors v Miami Heat: Two Key Stats

1. Poole’s blueprint

He may not be as efficient as this on a nightly basis, but Poole’s aggressiveness and overall attitude were just what you want to see moving forward. In just over 26 minutes, he finished with 32 points and 5 assists, shooting 12-17 from the floor and 5-9 from three.

There will be nights where Curry struggles, and who knows what kind of consistency Thompson will provide after two major injuries. So for the Warriors to have this kind of player with this kind of scoring potential, as a third guard, that’s scary for the rest of the league.

2. Warriors dishing dimes

For the second straight game, the Warriors dished out 39 assists which, according to Warriors reporter Kendra Andrews, is the first time a team has done that in nearly 30 years. More importantly, those 78 combined assists have come with just 27 total turnovers.
