Golden State Warriors: Klay and the newcomers

This is not so much a specific lineup, but rather a collection of players we can not wait to see play alongside Klay Thompson.

The Golden State Warriors’ roster has changed quite a bit since Klay last played in a game. Names like Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins, Otto Porter, Gary Payton, Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, Damion Lee, Juan Toscano-Anderson, James Wiseman and Nemanja Bjelica have yet to play a single second next to Thompson.

There are so many fun lineups that can be constructed from this group. Will the catch-and-shoot dynamic of Thompson, Porter and Bjelica be enough to run team’s off the floor?

What about the potential for an all-defensive unit featuring Payton, Wiggins, Thompson, Kuminga and Wiseman?

It is unclear how experimental Steve Kerr will get with his rotations but the options are limitless with this team.

Most of all, I am excited to see Poole co-exist with Thompson. The honorary member of the Splash Brothers has broken out as a flashy ball handler and shot creator who will be a treat to pair with Thompson in non-Stephen Curry lineups. And, of course, the three Splash Bros together will be even more fun.
